Leatherwood Honey Nougat

This is where our story begins.

At the heart of this bar is Tasmanian Leatherwood honey — one of the world's most distinctive honeys, gathered from the remote rainforests of Tasmania's west. Floral, aromatic and unmistakably Tasmanian, it gives this nougat its character.

We combine it with roasted almonds and slowly fold it through soft traditional nougat, handcrafted in small batches using time-honoured methods. The result is a texture that is delicate and chewy, allowing the honey to remain the hero.

Simple, honest and deeply connected to the island we call home, this is the original Luca Nougat bar and still the one that best tells our story.
